Amusement Parks in Los Angeles

In the Greater Los Angeles Area, there are a couple of major amusement parks that are a must visit when visiting Los Angeles. They offer a full days-worth of exciting things to do depending on where you go.

The amusement park closest to the Los Angeles area is Universal Studios Hollywood. They offer rides and exhibits that revolve around the world of Universal’s movies and TV shows. For example, they have a studio tour bus ride, a gift shop themed after The Simpson’s, extravagant performances, and a rollercoaster themed after The Mummy.

For those that have younger children or want to revisit their childhoods playing with Legos, far south of Los Angeles is LegoLand. Almost everything at the theme park is made out of Legos, and they have a variety of regions that encompass different themes.

Finally, one of the most famous theme parks in the world, Disneyland, is also located near Los Angeles. Disneyland takes your favorite Disney movies and characters and turns them into real life experiences. They have created a world with highly complex technology to make the experience feel as realistic as possible, and it is the perfect place for a vacation. In addition to Disneyland, Disney has created a second theme park called California Adventure. This theme park is still Disney based, but they offer attractions themed after some of the more modern Disney shows and Pixar shows. Just about everyone loves Disneyland, even the Kardashians from the valley of Los Angeles.
